The CareCenter Community Center provides a nurturing environment for our community where youth can find faith-based activities that seek to promote positive development through relationship, mentorship and discipleship. 98% of our youth participants come from single-family and fatherless homes, leaving a vast void in guidance. We seek to empower the youth through services including After-School Program, summer and holiday camps, sports leagues and mentorship curriculum.

After-School Program

We partner with a multiple schools in our community to provide the After-School Program, at no cost to participants, for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. It is our honor to provide a safe, nurturing environment to children who, otherwise, might be left at home alone or on the streets of their impoverished neighborhoods. Our staff and volunteers spend more than 543 critical hours per year with students! The After-School program provides tutoring, homework help, arts and crafts, physical fitness, character development curriculum and a nutritional snack to children who attend.

Camp Care

Camp Care is our free summer camp program for youth in our community. In addition to field trips, drama and music lessons, arts and crafts and special guests, Camp Care offers free breakfast and lunch to participants. It is important to note that 98% of the youth we serve are enrolled in public school free breakfast and lunch programs, therefore, providing nutritional assistance is a vital

Talent Plus Basketball League

Young men ages 12 – 16 participate in the Talent Plus Basketball League. The league focuses on skill development, as well as character building and leadership training. We have a passion to help at-risk teens, by discipling these young men to be young Christian leaders!

Men and Ladies of Honor

Men and Ladies of Honor combines powerful weekend camps and weekly one-hour discipleship meetings, using character specific curriculum to train young men and women to be world changers for Christ. The program focuses on principles of honor, rites of passage, courageous leadership, and moral excellence. With committed volunteers and a foundation rooted in biblical truth, this program is making an eternal difference!

Men of Honor has impacted me in so many areas of my life. They have built character in me where there was none. I always tried to identify myself by the crowd I hung out with, but that all changed when I came to the program. Now I know who I am, a Man of Honor.
