Unlike most other ministries, which are supported by a parent church, Hilltop Church was founded as a platform for those being served by CareCenter Ministries. Many of those being evangelized by CareCenter would not feel comfortable attending a mainstream church.

Hilltop Church is located in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas in the heart of the urban community. Members of the RACE program, Overcomers, and others with a heart for God meet to praise, worship, and sit under the ministry of the Word as preached by Senior Pastor Eldred Sawyer, Executive Director of CareCenter Ministries.

The church fills a spiritual vacuum in the inner city where many churches have relocated to the suburbs. It features a children’s ministry, a youth ministry, and is a central location from which many of CareCenter’s outreach programs are initiated.
