Mira Flores Apartments, a complex of
several hundred units in the 75217 zip code, has recently been
acquired by new owners that are partnering with CCM to bring in ministry teams. This
complex was previously the site of a lot of gang activity, but we have
started having ministry programs in the
Activity Center on a full time basis. The outreach ministries include Sidewalk Sunday School, Overcomers, and
an on-site ACTS Ministry Office. Here is a comment from one of
the tenants:
"Ever since
the new owners came in and made all these changes to the property I
am so happy. You should come take a look now and see all the
great improvement done to the property. It's nice and peaceful at
night now! I love it!!!"
