CareCenter Community Center

CareCenter Ministries wishes to provide a go-to location in our community where indigenous families can find Christ-centered activities such as sports, entertainment and educational training. We specifically want to empower the youth and promote positive development through relationship, discipleship and the love of Jesus Christ. We offer a wide variety of programs, most of which are free.

CareCenter After-School Program
During the school year between the hours of 3:00pm – 6:00pm the CareCenter Community Center serves as a place of refuge, encouragement and fun for sixty-plus elementary-aged children in the CareCenter After-School Program. Research shows that children who are home alone after school are at greater risk to make poor grades in school and get involved in violence and gang activity. We know the importance in providing an alternative and consider it a privilege to be able to impact the youth in our community.

Team Kaleo
CareCenter Ministries Youth Basketball League serves as a program to connect to young men in our community where we are able to mentor and disciple the men of the next generation. Made up of middle and high school boys, Team Kaleo is named after the Greek term “Kaleo” meaning “to be called, or called out.” The Basketball League includes Bible study, mentoring and scripture memorization along with weekly practices and games.

Camp CARE gives young people in our community a fun-filled summer experience with loving counselors and staff who live out the love of Christ to our campers. Camp includes breakfast, lunch and snacks; arts and crafts; sports activities; Christ-centered learning; field trips; and much more! Each year dozens of campers make life-changing decisions to follow Christ at Camp CARE!
